"This resort is an absolute gem! We booked a standard room at a very affordable rate and honestly didn’t expect much—but the moment we stepped into our chalet, we were blown away. It was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and felt like our own private sanctuary. Having an entire building to ourselves gave us the peace, privacy, and relaxation we were hoping for—and more. Every single aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. The resort is breathtaking and thoughtfully designed, the food was delicious, the staff were exceptional and genuinely welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and rejuvenating. It truly felt like a perfect escape from everyday life. The only small downside was the short untarred road from the main city to the resort, but trust me—it is absolutely worth the drive. What awaits you at the resort more than makes up for it and creates unforgettable memories. Even though we do not have any physical disabilities, we were impressed by how accessible the resort is. All the facilities we visited were thoughtfully designed to accommodate guests with disabilities, which really speaks to the care and inclusivity behind this beautiful place. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and memorable getaway. We can’t wait to return!"

"Canceled booking and went down the street. This place is severely lacking. Pictures look nothing like the place. Dark hallways. Wires hanging from ceiling. I’m glad we left. "

"The room was clean and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful and the food tasty. The pool was out of order and the water pressure quite low, but the setting was beautiful with excellent opportunities for birdwatching. Overall a very enjoyable stay."

"I liked the location right on the Volta River. I liked the outdoor dining room. I liked the food selections on the menu. I liked the beautiful landscaping. I didn't like the poor service and missing items that were not as advertised. No pool No wifi No toilet paper in the bathroom. We had to ask for some. The manager was non- existence during our stay. Every time we had a question, one of the young ladies had to call him. He was off-site most of the time. On our day of departure, we asked to speak to the manager, and they said he was sleep at 10:00 AM."

"Unfortunately, my stay at Lagoon Beach Hotel was disappointing. There was no hot water, the rooms had an unpleasant smell, and the internet didn’t work at all. The hotel seemed understaffed, and the water quality was questionable—I ended up using bottled water instead. There was also a strange odor coming from the bathroom. Overall, it wasn’t a comfortable experience, and I don’t plan to stay there again. "
