The Blue Lady is quite a place! We had a group of 11 stay and that fit us perfectly. It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood and it is kept very clean. I would highly recommend a stay to anyone looking to stay in the Dubuque area with a bigger group. The view is worth it!

Amazing Historical Mansion!

The Blue Lady was a fantastic place to stay in Dubuque. Close to downtown, plenty of space for family to spread out, unique historical finishes throughout the home. Wished we had multiple keys a couple of times, but the typical keypad access with a lot of rentals is just not possible when you have historic-grade doors. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful girls getaway at the Blue Lady. We had 10 women, there was enough beds and bathrooms for all to enjoy. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were spacious enough to accommodate all. We enjoyed sitting on the porches with our coffee watching the sun rise over the town, breathtaking. Dubuque has so much to offer to create the perfect vacation. The house grows on you. When first entering you realize it’s old and not updated. But at every turn you admire the quality that went into the original construction. A few things I would improve is the smell on certain floors, the inability to open most of the windows and exterior seating for large groups. Overall our family of 14 was very satisfied.
