A very quick walk to the train station if you are traveling elsewhere in Ireland. The hotel is nice - and the restaurant is a pretty good value compared to nearby places. Plenty of staff around to help. Also, very near a DART line, and a Big Bus drop-off site - if you are going around the city. The only downside would be very limited shopping within walking distance. But I would book there if going back to Ireland.

Overall the hotel was clean, but it is dated. Rooms and bathrooms were outdated. It did fit all four of us. The staff was nice. Location is not in the city center. You’ll have to take the tram into the city or it’s about a 30 minute walk. Location is not the most convenient and not too many shops or restaurants nearby.

The downstairs of this hotel is very nice. The moment you get to the rooms- they are dated compared to others of the same price and area. The staff at the front desk is not friendly and certainly not helpful.

Had high expectations that fell a bit short. Arrived to a friendly greeting by reception staff, room was ready an hour early so we brought our bags up and immediately put our key in the power to turn the a/c down (we are from the southern states and like our air, which is why I picked this hotel over many others because it listed a/c as an amenity). After our day exploring the city, we returned after dark to find our room hadn’t cooled off at all. I spoke to the front desk, they sent someone to “fix it” when all he did was turn it off and back on. After another 20-30 minutes of no change, I called again and the manager was nice and switched our rooms. However, that room never cooled down either so I called back just to ask for a fan since it was 11:30pm and we needed to sleep to get up early and head to the airport. The beds weren’t comfortable and sheets/pillowcases felt like sandpaper. We dined in both restaurants (one for early dinner and one for breakfast), the food was decent but the service was not the best. The only thing I liked about this hotel was that it was not too loud because it wasn’t in the middle of all the activity, it was close to the tram, and felt safe. However I probably wouldn’t stay again, especially in the summer, due to lack of good a/c, small rooms, uncomfortable beds, and lack of good service in restaurants.
