The airport shuttle was so easy and I was able to pay to check in early so I didn’t have to wait all day for my room when I arrived at 5am.
The front desk staff was either just fine or a little confused. While nice, the service wasn’t what I’d expect from this hotel chain.
The room was dated and had a in wall heating/AC unit. When I arrived the room was freezing and upon turning on the unit it I had to get over the burnt smell of it sitting all summer.
The floor was dirty and left me wondering the cleanliness of the rest of the room.
We had an issue with a clogged toilet and that was the best service we received. Maintenance came quickly to address the issue until resolution then sent someone to mop the bathroom which was a nice touch.
Had my whole stay been given this level of care it would have ended up differently for me.
You get breakfast but are threatened to not take anything back to your room. Feels petty.
The lobby is also old and some of the plants (a main focus of the large center) were dead or dying. The whole place wasn’t taken care of the way it could have been.
If I had to stay here again, I might, but it wouldn’t be my first choice and I’d bite the bullet to pay $20-30 more for a similar property (plenty within walking distance of this place) if they were available.
