Health Hazard due to horrible pet urine issue
I cannot recommend this place at all – it is a health issue due to pet urine.
It is cute and has potential, however, there is a very bad pet urine issue. Two of the rooms are in the basement which are carpeted and reek of pet urine! The smell was awful! My daughter delivered her bag downstairs then sat outside on the back patio until it was time for us to leave to meet friends, refusing to go downstairs until she absolutely had to. We picked up Odoban and candles to try to mask the smell but that didn’t work. After one night stay I woke up with a migraine and upset stomach. We had already been in Colorado for a week by this point, so it wasn’t altitude sickness. My daughter also had a headache. There was no way we could stay at this place for the 10 days we were supposed to. So we packed up and left by 8:30 am the next morning. It took me almost 2 days to recover from sleeping in that smell.
Unfortunately, the owners and Evolve were no help. They asked if the owners could resolve the problem, which is not possible with a pet urine issue as bad as they have. This would involve ripping up the carpet and neutralizing the urine issue underneath.
Now we are out the $3,000 we spent and had to spend more money to find a place to stay for the remainder of our time in Denver. DO NOT STAY here! It is not healthy at all!! & DO NOT USE Evolve. They are more concerned with the home owners than with the guests.
