Disliked: Cleanliness
Host double-booked us and canceled our reservation 45 minutes prior to our departure for Dallas. Despite the fact that I booked accommodations 2 months in advance and had communicated with him by the app earlier in the week, he claimed not to notice the double-booking until the morning of, and left us scrambling to find other lodging (which I did, for an extra 120…an amount I might not have had to pay had I had actual advance warning that he couldn’t accommodate us). He was barely apologetic (I got more of an “oh well” attitude from him than anything else). It was extremely unprofessional and has soured us on VRBO in general.
