It was amazing. We loved the home and the thought put into the making it cozy and comfortable for guests. We particularly loved how it was secluded but close to plenty to do in Covington. Would highly recommend.

The house is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The outdoor area is awesome with lots of games, a fire pit, and comfortable porch area. The location is great because it feels very secluded, but is conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. We truly enjoyed our weekend at the Glass House.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Glass House. The house came equipped with absolutely everything we needed to take our minds off of work, sink into relaxing on the river and just have a great time. The hosts have made a lot of really thoughtful touches, from included charcoal for the green egg grill, to kayaks, cornhole and a giant connect four. The rooms and beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and cozy. We couldn't have asked for more and we will absolutely be back very soon. This may become our regular retreat from the city.

Perfect Staycation at The Glass House!

The Glass House was absolutely amazing! From the moment we booked, the owners were extremely communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Anytime we had a question, they responded immediately and were incredibly helpful.Even though we’re only 45 minutes away, this staycation felt like a true getaway and was more than my family and I could have asked for. The home was stocked with so many great activities — board games inside, horseshoes, fire pits, a Green Egg for grilling, and so much more. Every little detail was thought of to make sure we had the perfect experience.If you’re looking for a place to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature, The Glass House is it. We can’t wait to come back!

R&R at its Finest

Our arrival was right at check in time and we were fortunate enough to meet the owners Erik and Haley. They were kind enough to fill us in on more of the history of the property. What a treasure! I can't say enough about the peaceful atmosphere and yet you are so close to all the restaurants and grocery stores. Be sure to check out Acquistapace's Covington Supermarket, particularly if you enjoy a glass of wine. Their selection is more than impressive. The hosts recommended Valencia restaurant in Covington and we were not disappointed. Definitely recommend the chargrilled octopus!! The service was amazing and the atmosphere private and moody. Erik and Haley were the most attentive, kind and genuine hosts and neighbors, you would never guess they are somewhat new at VRBO. If you're looking for a rental in the Covington area, don't pass up this place. The location is picturesque and so private and just a short drive to Mandeville and New Orleans. We will be back!
