"Do some crazy traffic jams in Melbourne we arrived after 9:00 PM, which was their office closing time. Thankfully, the instructions for finding the room and the key had been clearly explained to us over the phone, which we really appreciated. It was a cold, miserable night—but walking into the room felt like such a warm welcome. The owners had thoughtfully turned the heaters on ahead of our arrival, and that simple gesture made all the difference. It was a lovely way to start our stay. "

"Thanks for providing a very large, spacious home for our multi-generational Easter holiday (me, my husband and our 2 kids; my sister, her husband and their 2 kids; and our mum/nan).Beautiful clean and soft linen and towels. Great games room for kids and adults alike. Loved the long dining table and many cupboards in the kitchen). I made the mistake of leaving a cupboard full of our food and shopping bags (after our stay ended) and the hosts were excellent at communication and even sent our items home to us - very much appreciated We appreciated the enclosed yard for the dogs, and it was a great location for an Easter egg hunt.Polished concrete floors were very comfortable and the bathrooms although older were clean and worked well. Only had a few issues, we couldn't get the wifi to work during our stay but data reception was fine so we just hotspoted the TV for streaming for the kids. The first day of our stay was hotter and we couldn't get the ceiling fan to work, but then as it became cooler the fire was a great warmth. The kitchen was clean on the surface but could do with a deep clean. And finally, the back sliding door tracks are very dirty so the doors were very challenging to open and close, so we avoided using these doors.Otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay and appreciated the large space for all of us. Thanks again "
