The area around the lodge is beautiful. The lodge is older and musty smelling but overall nice. Most of the staff was wonderful but a few were a little surly.

The park is wonderful. and around the resort is clean and nice . We love the pool, the hiking, the nature.. The place is old but clean and we were surprise that the room did not have the old smell. Our problem was the food, terrible. The resort food is not good and to find some place to eat you have to drive about 20 miles to Carbin and if you lucky find a good place to eat. We recommended the Sonny's bbq and the KFC Museum and restaurant. If we go back to the park one day we would definitely rent a cabin and take my own food with me to enjoy more the place surroundings and not spending so much time trying to find a place to eat. :)

While the lodge was outdated, the place was spotless. Loved the shower water pressure. Hiking and views were spectacular. Staff was very nice and recommended some great places to visit.

Disappointed that dining room was closed for lunch and dinner. Had to drive 30 minutes for food. Continental breakfast lacked protein, hard boiled eggs or peanut butter would have been appreciated.

Great view from the rear patio. Very friendly staff. Our room was clean and had no unpleasant odors but interior needs updating especially the plumbing. The rooms need micowave ovens and small refrigerators. The AC would make an Eskimo happy! From what I found online it will be renovated in the fall of 2025. The restaurant buffet was good but not completely what was listed online. We would definitely come back.

This is a beautiful park and the CCC lodge from the 1930s was a quaint and fabulous place from which to enjoy our visit there.

The Picnic tables were old and falling apart, outside was not clean, inside was very out dated, bed was like sleeping on the floor, it was very dirty, ants and gnats everywhere, had to have staff change bed because it was dirty and hair all over. For the price I was expecting better. Very disappointed for the 3 hour drive.
