"Other than the fact that no one was there when I arrived and I had to call and wait for them, things were great. The hot water also took a while to arrive and didn't last long. But the staff were helpful and the location was close to most of what you want to see in Pingyao."

"The room we stayed in was nice. It was very dusty in Pingyao. I asked for clean towels on the second day of our stay because they were dirty. It was an awkward conversation, clearly they did not want to provide clean towels. In the end they didn’t and we were left to use dusty dirty towels."

Sitting in the beautiful courtyard was a real pleasure. The rooms give you a complete taste of old china whist enjoying the lovely equipped bathroom, and comfortable authentic bed. Added to this the beautiful city of pingyao. Highly recommended the elsewhere hotel and pingyao. :) xx"
