We were able to enjoy the remarkable quiet even though the street is fairly busy.The bedroom we used is at the back of the house and they did a fantastic job of making it DARK. I slept in one day until 11 and it was still dark. Great shades.The bathroom is small but functional and the towels and toilet paper were very good.The kitchen is as well as well stocked as ours at home. If you need it, it is there.The refrigerator is very cute as is the microwave...both designed to look like antiques. There is a small fenced in side yard for our dog and that was very helpful.The screened in back porch is probably special but the weather was not at all cooperative for sitting outside. Jacob and his wife have an eclectic sense of style making it a fun place...a little Hawaii, a little southwest, and a little klitch.The main bed is a king. We are used to a king foam bed so when I first got in, it felt hard but it slept really well. Got up refreshed .. when I got up. Place is clean. I'm pretty OCD on things like that and it met every test.When we first arrived I was hesitant. The yard was weedy, the house not especially attractive, driveway has cracks in the asphalt and the fence looked like I might have put it up. Truthfully, it is the least attractive house around. My first impression was that we overpaid.Ever heard the expression " trying to make a silk purse out of a pig's ear"?That's this place. But they did!!!The inside is great in about every way you can think of.
