Started out badly with a failure by Expedia. Things just went downhill from there. No plastic bags were stocked in the pet area. Fortunately, since we had the problem of 2 rooms, I could take the trash can liners and ice bucket bags from the other room we had to pay for. So we were compliant with picking up after them.
Breakfast consistently had overcooked, dry sausage and lukewarm coffee.
Despite the cold weather, the heater did not function in our room. Since it was already our third room, we did not want to move again. My husband finally turned the heater off since all it was blowing was colder air than in the room. We used our dog blankets to try to stay warm and got extra pillow out of closet as well. Dogs had their beds so they were okay.
Landscaping was well maintained, lots of hot water, clean bathrooms, lobby and elevators were clean. Issues were primarily related to service. Probably unlikely to use La Quinta much in the future based on this experience.
