The “renovations” done to this hotel have ruined it. I’ve stayed here a few dozen times over the last few years and will never return. They have horrible giant rain showers that make keeping your hair dry almost impossible. The new shower fixtures are not installed right and you can’t get hot water without pulling up constantly on the handle, then the tub isn’t functional since you can’t plug the water. The room is dark and has yellow lights over the sink so you can’t put makeup on properly. The desk has no lights. There’s paint spilled on the new floor. The towels are in an awkward basket on the door by the door. The sink has almost no countertop making it very hard to take out or put in contacts. The space has been made non functional all so it looks good in a picture. My shower experience was the worst Ive ever had in a hotel and I once had to bath out of a bucket with water I heated on a stove. Plus the hotel has major structural issues in the front rooms but they have been covered up by the low end face lift.

January 2026 update: There is demolition and construction going on in the lobby. Breakfast has been moved to a temporary area. The rooms in the back section are closed for construction. Property will be renamed to Comfort Inn.

Updated rooms look nice, however are not very functional. “Barn door” style bathroom door leaves no privacy and is clunky. Shower faucet is difficult to operate. There aren’t any soap holders in the shower. Towels are flimsy and like sandpaper. Pillows are tiny and flat. On a positive note, staff was friendly, and the mattress was comfy

It was an okay place to spend the night. The room was clean except for the vent over the shower that had deep gunk climbing out of the vent.
