The manor is absolutely gorgeous! We have stayed here before and will stay here again and again! The grounds are beautiful...so many walking trails, a waterpark, gardens...you will see deer if you drive around at dusk. This is a very old historical manor so it has its quirks...our toilet flushed very slowly and sometimes required more than one flush, but it is so breathtaking and the quirks honestly make it special in my opinion. Also, there is an amazing maintenance man on site during the days who can help with anything and everything. I can't say enough good things about this place. You have to see it in person to appreciate how beautiful it truly is.

Beautiful property, and room. Fast enough WiFi to watch a movie uninterrupted, and plenty of hot water for showers. Never seen any staff, so I’m not sure how it works if you need something. However, I’m pretty sure you can message them through the Expedia app if necessary. Overall I enjoyed the experience and would recommend to anyone.

It was a very spacious rental with 3 bedrooms a kitchen and living area. The setting was great and you really feel like you are out in the woods even though you are right in the middle of town. Very centrally located with easy access to shopping, food and the highway.

Perfect location in the midst of Tanglewood Park. An arboretum is just outside the front door. The property is appropriately decorated in an early 20th century style and was immaculate. The room has older fixtures befitting the age of the property. Water pressure could be better and some necessities were initially in short supply but the management addressed this issue.

Beautiful setting and the park provides many outdoor activities. Convenient location for our son’s volleyball tournament. Quiet and peaceful, great birding. Cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable, but could use some interior touch up painting, along with some art or prints on the walls ( not really a big deal, but would enhance the coziness of the cabin). Getting to the site in the dark made it a little hard to figure out the cabin number, but at the same time made for great stargazing. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed in a cottage #4 at Tanglewood, one-time estate of the tobacco magnate William Neal Reynolds that has been a Forsyth County park since 1951. The four cottages are in the woods down a gravel road branching off from the main park road. The cabin had a living room with a big TV, a full kitchen, and two bedrooms. Our only problem was that we got detailed directions for access, door code, etc only about noon of our day of arrival. The accommodation was nothing fancy — rural cabin — but clean. We hiked on park trails in the afternoon and watched horses grazing.
