Duffin Cove Oceanfront Lodging
"We stayed 2 nights late June & enjoyed it very much. Location & view were top draws. A few minutes walk to most places in the downtown core & an ethereal sight from the moment you open your eyes. The bathroom is surprisingly large with 2 big sinks compared to a cozy room. The parking is easy & on crushed rocks. There are 2 plastic chairs & a side table on the balcony to enjoy the serenity. The bed is comfortable & the bath products are nicely scented. We would have loved to open the sliding doors at night for cool air (as common in the area, no A/C) & to listen to the lapping waters but there was no screen & mosquitoes came in the room when we tried. A microwave would also be a useful addition. Lastly, the balcony floor was dusty leaving the bottoms of my feet dirty. Maybe splashing it with water periodically would keep it as well as the room clean (or wear shoes). These are small matters & feedback for management. We truly enjoyed our stay otherwise."
