Thr Hotel was ok, but I"ve had a big prpblem with EXPEDIA. DON'T BOOK WUITH THEM !!! I had to leave the Hotel after the first night because I have a sight disability and it was difficult for me to reach the room. The Hotel was ok with it and told me they didn´t opose to the return of the money I had paid for the resting 4 nights. But Expedia don't want to return it to me. So, they keep 726 pounds that don't belong to them. I think I'll have to sue Expedia.

We stayed in apartment 5 which is separate to the hotel but only a few minutes walk away. We were able to park outside the apartment in our own space (you need to turn into the apartment and go under the arch to find it) and on checkout they let us stay parked there until 3pm which gave us an extra 3 hrs to explore Chester. The apartment itself was much bigger than expected and had everything we needed for our mini break with our teenage sons. We had the option to have a roll out bed added to the apartment too which we did as our sons are far too big to share a bed these days. This could easily have been moved to the spacious living room if anyone wanted to book somewhere with three separate sleeping areas. The apartment has enough bathrooms to keep everyone happy, although the shower in the bathroom that also has a bath was out of order (this didn't affect us as there is another shower in a different bathroom and our boys were very excited to have an actual bath instead!) We didn't really go back tot eh hotel once wed collected our keys but it looked really cool and quirky when we did pop in. There was an option to add on breakfast on the day so no pressure to decide wether to add it to the booking (we didn't eat there as my husband headed out early into the city instead to pick up our specific breakfast orders!) Would definitely recommend booking for a stay in Chester, the apartment could easily fit more people if needed.

Stayed at Oddfellows for a couple of nights in December. The hotel has a lovely quirky vibe which liked, rooms were clean and the staff were really helpful. Would stay again if visiting Chester.

First the good. The apartment we stayed in was massive. So much room, too much really for two people. Lovely and warm too. Parking a bonus. Now the bad. Tired apartment in need of tlc. Lacking the va va vroom of the hotel. Cracked sinks and toilet seat, no curtains and broken blinds, one shower ‘out of action’, mould and cobwebs in bathroom, cup rings on bedside table. Cleaning poor: Toothpaste splatter on walls, food debris in kitchen sink, ceramic hob had burnt on ring marks. Scourer under sink used and damp and fridge needed a wipe. If it had a little more attention to detail it would be a great space. So quiet at night and easy walk into town. Had ev charging which wasn’t mentioned or I’d have brought my ev!

Lovely shower. Toilet in the room was in a very small closet with no privacy. More like a cubby hole. Strange layout when there was room within the bathroom area for the toilet. Comfy bed though

Stayed in an apartment off site. Good location - close to centre. After having to phone to ask which apartment we were staying in as only 5 apartments but our key had the number 23 on it everything was good. Spacious apartment - plenty of room for everyone.

We stayed in Apartment 4 and it’s just a great 2 bed apartment with a nice lounge, great kitchen, both beds had en-suites plus another bathroom. Could not recommend higher to use them, they have 3 or 4 I believe. My son and his girlfriend stayed in the Hotel itself and also said it great. 100% recommend both if your coming to Chester for a weekend anyway. Chest is also just great place, ace shops, good bars and loads of cool restaurants
