The swimming pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all the family it was just a pity that there were no shops within walking distance.We were impressed by the immediate response to the air conditioning having stopped working - a man appeared within the hour on a Sunday to fix it - thank you.Great holiday, highly recommended "

"Absolutely perfect stay. The rooms were amazing, the pool was perfect. We're already thinking about coming back for longer next year. The area is really interesting with lots of interesting and beautiful towns and chateaux to visit nearby, as well as great food and gorgeous landscapes, canoeing on the Dordogne all a couple of minutes away. Dan and Karen were brilliant, helpful but never invasive, and they have stocked the house with comfy furniture, luxurious beds, good quality kitchen utensils and lots of little areas to sit and be together. It's just a really wonderful place. "

"A beautiful house, spotlessly clean, spacious and with fabulous views, and a lovely private garden at the rear. We had a wonderful week in the house. It's a perfect base to explore the area. We really enjoyed shopping at the many local markets and eating at the house in the evenings, either in the dining room overlooking the river or in the pretty garden. The kitchen is superbly equipped for good cooking! The hosts are very friendly and helpful."
