The hotel is really nice, but the rooms were a bit outdated. I did not mind it that much and the bed was really comfortable and I had a nice view of Mont Blanc. The shower was a bit annoying because it was really small, everything would get wet, and the temperature kept going up and down. It was nice that the toilet was separate. The hotel has no AC but it had a nice big window and it kept the room cool. The only bad thing is that if you had loud neighbors you had to pray they would go quiet once you are ready to sleep.

Room was basic but perfect for two nights! DJ and singers were amazing in the evening and the location of the hotel was perfect. They didn’t warn us that there was a £200 deposit when you get to the hotel and they only accepted a physical card, so make sure you have this as you could get very stuck.

We had a fantastic stay at La Folie Douce in Chamonix. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the town centre and with easy access to the slopes, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, with great facilities and a lively atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. What really made our stay special was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. They always went out of their way to assist with any questions or requests and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Now that we have stayed at this hotel in Chamonix we wouldnt go to another one and would highly recommend La Folie Douce to anyone visiting Chamonix.
