Fortunately the night porter came on duty and said he would make up a take away continental package. So much more helpful that the receptionist man. We had a lovely continental breakfast on the train. But surely a station hotel should be serving breakfast from at least 7.00?"

"Loved the classical style of this fine Victorian era hotel. We enjoyed the en suite room with a very comfortable bed and fantastic view of the castle and river. The photographs of people and days long gone that lined the hallways and stairways were very interesting indeed and definitely added to the essence of the hotel. Staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Lots to like at this well located hotel. Definitely would recommend for a comfortable stay in Inverness."
