Hermoso apartamento recientemente remodelado en planta baja de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños con muebles modernos y comodidades completamente nuevos. Este complejo recientemente renovado se encuentra a media cuadra de las playas más bonitas de Carpinteria y directamente frente a la Reserva de Marismas. Ubicación súper tranquila, a 200 metros de la arena, a poca distancia de las tiendas y restaurantes.

El espacio
Esta unidad acaba de completarse con muebles nuevos y contemporáneos. El salón tiene un sofá y una silla de cuero blanco muy modernos y mesas con iluminación decorativa. La cocina es un espacio muy grande con grandes encimeras de losa de piedra y todos los gabinetes nuevos de roble y todos los electrodomésticos nuevos de acero inoxidable.

Las habitaciones tienen hermosos muebles contemporáneos con colchones, ropa de cama y accesorios de alta calidad. El dormitorio principal tiene un baño privado en suite, una gran pantalla plana t. v. con toneladas de canales premium, y una hermosa vista a los exuberantes jardines del patio ajardinado. Ambas habitaciones tienen cortinas opacas.

Long weekend

Love staying in this apartment with its close proximity to the beach and a fabulous view of the mountains from the outdoor garden. The accommodations are super nice with everything you could possibly need. The property is well maintained. I especially enjoyed the garden for morning coffee!!! You will never be disappointed with this choice!!

Nice apt and close to the beach

Loved it very much! Perfect location for walking to the beach and places to eat. The apt had everything we could need such as beach chairs, towels, and all the kitchen equipment. The use of the washer and dryers were a bonus. Comfy and just enough room for a family of four. Highly recommend 10/10

Great Vacation Stay

This condo was absolutely perfect! The whole place was very clean, well stocked, the beds were very comfortable and it was so close to the beach!!! I would highly recommend this place, and we would love to stay again!!!

Peaceful and Easy Access

Ewe were looking for a place close to family and events in the area. We also had a small dog to accommodate. Parking and accessible unit for elderly parents was perfect. Of course we realize the off season for the beach is a little different than summer use. The unit was so clean and all use was clearly explained. Much nicer than a hotel for the three nights we stayed. Thank you.

Great Apartment by the Sea

We really appreciated the nicely appointed apartment and were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen supplied with coffee, sugar, salt/pepper, saran wrap, foil and ziplock baggies. Although we didn’t cook because of the brevity of our trip, these supplies would have made cooking and clean up easier. We were also happy with the size if the apartment and that it allowed our small dogs to stay. Great hosts!

July 4th vacation

Love love loved our apartment in Carpenteria! Tropical shores is amazing and beautiful. Perfect location especially if you’re bringing pets, a few steps from dog beach and really clean and nice. The only thing I would change is a more comfortable bed.

wonderful in every way

Great location, clean, wonderfully decorated. Host was awesome. So nice to have a place dedicated to families who want to stay a few days or a week and not have to stay in a hotel. So much of Carpenteria in past years was for families wanting a week at the beach. Those places have since been converted to condos and are owner occupied or leased monthly. Not Tropic Shores. The family has a goal of providing weekly rentals to families, like it used to be. And they provide it in a fantastic way. You are literally less than a two minute walk to the waves. Wonderful place.

Great stay near the beach

My family had a great stay at Elena’s place. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Elena was so responsive and kind before, during and even after our stay. We loved hanging out in the courtyard. The location cannot be beat! We’ll definitely return.

In 2021, we stopped in Carpinteria rather serendipitously on a return trip from Seattle. We loved the place, but only had a half-day and one night. Still, we liked it enough that we booked for 10 days this year and had the best time. The condo was well stocked and had plenty of space for the two of us (we both work part-time from home). We thought the beds were comfortable and we always appreciate fun artwork. The setting was wonderful, too. The courtyard made it feel different than a motel and provided easy access to the parking, washer/dryer and trash. Effortless. The shrubs are a nice touch and our dog agreed after checking every one of them. The two units next to us were rented by a group of 8 or 9 vacationers who were having a lot of fun. But… their noise was not bad at all. And, what we heard was ‘happy noise’. Not yelling or screaming but just fun laughter. I don’t get tired of that. That’s the condo… The town of Carpinteria is just too good. It is a 60s beach town that in some ways doesn’t know it’s a half a century later. It has been updated with modern grocery stores, a beach boardwalk and EV charging options, but it’s STILL 60s in other ways, i.e., the hamburger place just a few blocks away – The Spot. In Carpinteria, you can walk forever or drive somewhere in five minutes. We will return!

Perfectly situated

We really enjoyed this property. Excellent location for beach access, and the beach is terrific. Extremely clean and contemporary, comfortable apartment; beautiful building landscaping was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Carpenteria is a wonderfully laid-back small town easily accessible to more action if that's your thing. Owner was very helpful and made the stay super-easy. We loved it and can't wait to go back.

NOT dog friendly. Instantly discriminated against because of our dog. Heard little dogs barking all night. Walls paper thin. Was there on a business trip that didn’t end up going through, had to cancel and they got to just pocket 7k ..no offer of credits or anything. Very poor customer service. They state back parking for overflow but there are 5 parking spots which is not noted and it’s so narrow, we scratched the bumper of our truck trying to get out. It’s ridiculous, you can’t even park near your unit due to over crowding. They have noted if your WiFi goes out to just use the neighbors. Never heard anything like that before. Beds are hard as a rock and the two other beds are too small for a grown man, which is not stated in the description. We were instantly approached upon arrival because of our dog even though they were aware we were bringing him. The property manager is a nasty woman and very hateful. They pretty much told us other people’s kids could run in our unit or others animals if we left our door open, even though all dogs are supposed to be on leash. There is an on leash dog friendly beach near but they have a note in the unit stating you can take them off leash just watch out for the police, which I thought was negligent. Highly do NOT recommend this place unless you are a single adult and plan on never being there.

Carpinteria Condo

The condo was just perfect. It’s in an ideal location, extremely clean and having the extra goodies in the refrigerator was a wonderful surprise. We will definitely stay there again when visiting our family who lives in Carpinteria.
