Its just an old property. Motel 6 tries to take good care of but after time it shows it's old age. Price was great and location was great. Staff was spectacular. Not sure I would stay again because of the old mattresses.

It was average across the board. I haven’t stayed in a Motel 6 for over 15 or so years, so maybe it just seemed basic compared to the accommodations that I’m used to. It served it’s purpose of having somewhere to sleep.

Staff at the front desk is always charming and good sense of humor at check in. I personally Iike the rooms facing the freeway, even though you hear noise of cars, it’s quieter than rooms by the pool.

I wouldn't stay here again

VERY noisy, internet was slow and the shower head had partially detatched from the wall. Pool was closed and front desk had no idea, laundry machines were broken. Room key stopped working randomly in the middle of the stay and had to be re-coded. They tried to blame the key being near a phone when it hadn't been and the person I was traveling with had the same exact thing happen at the same time.

I like how dogs and parking is free. Simple, easy and convenient. Nothing fancy but everything you need! I didn’t like how the magnetic strip deactivated on both room keys. They reset them both, but still only one worked.

My husband and I ( we are deaf) experienced a ADA accessibility issue during our stay. The TV in our room did not have functioning captions, which are essential for us. I immediately informed the staff. While they did call someone to assist, the issue dragged on for over an hour. A few employees, including a manager with a new remote, tried to fix it, but no timely solution was provided. In our past hotel stays, similar issues were handled quickly—either by enabling captions or by moving us to another accessible room. This hotel initially asked what floor we preferred but later claimed there were no other rooms available when we requested a room with a working TV and captions. The experience made us feel ignored and disrespected . I also asked for a refund due to the inconvenience and ADA violation. They told me it would take 7 to 10 days to process—which is unreasonable given the circumstances. To make matters worse, they had me sign a plain piece of lined paper to request the refund, which felt completely unprofessional and unreliable. Overall, this was an unacceptable experience that failed to meet veryyyy BASIC ADA standards and left us feeling deeply disappointed as we wanted to explore the area in Santa Barbara . All hotels that allow pets were either full or too expensive.

We showed up at 2:50pm for a 3:00pm check in. We were admonished for stepping on the lady’s clean floor and told no check ins until 3:10. It was off putting. However, when we can back hours later, the 2nd lady was very nice. However, the keycard machine was broken. Haha. Oh man.
