19 miles (31 kilometers) away from the middle of Carhuaz, you will find the Hotel Colomba. Alternatively, the Arawi Pastoruri Hotel can be found about 19 miles (30 kilometers) away. Alternate hotel options include the El Tumi and the Hatun Wasi Hostel.

San Sebastian Hotel Boutique
"I stayed at the San Sebastian Hotel while acclimating for the Huayhuash trek. The San Sebastian is like a mini oasis in Huaraz. Behind unassuming metal doors, is a cozy and peaceful hotel that regularly hosts hikers from around the world. The staff are relatively helpful and although not every staff member speaks English, they do try their best to understand and assist guests. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the WIFI is reliable, and there are electrical sockets to charge electronics. The hotel is not as close to the town center as some other hotels, but it's still just a 15 minute walk to Plaza de Armas, the town square. I enjoyed my stay at San Sebastian."
