The hotel looked a bit tired, we booked the kind suite which was very drab. It was clean but very brown and beige with the furniture looking very used. There were no ceiling lights either only sconce lighting which made it feel even darker. There was only one pillow each which I thought was unusual, who sleeps on one pillow! And when I asked for more I was told they did not have any available. The second night they were able to find only one. There were no plug points next to the bed so you had to charge your phones at night on a different table away from the bed which was very odd. The staff were very friendly. It's very unlikely we would stay there again.

I liked the free parking, this was a key element for choosing the hotel. It was very comfortable especially the bed! Handy for the train into Cardiff for an evening out which we did.
