Just minutes from downtown, the University of Calgary, and Kensington’s shops and cafés. Backing onto a lush green space, it offers calm and convenience in one cozy package.
The Space: A cozy, modern laneway suite with vaulted ceilings, a queen Murphy bed, sleeper sofa, kitchenette, private balcony, and full bathroom. Thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience, it’s ideal for solo travellers, couples, or short-term work stays.
Guest Access: Self check-in is simple with a secure keypad code provided before arrival. Guests have full and private access to the entire laneway suite and balcony. Entry is through a gate from the green space and pathway through the back yard.
The Neighborhood: Nestled in Hillhurst - one of Calgary’s most walkable and desirable communities - the suite opens directly onto a large green space and sits just steps from the Bow River pathways. You’re minutes from shops, restaurants, and the lively energy of nearby Kensington, one of Calgary’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.
Getting Around: It’s easy to get around whether you’re driving, biking, or on foot. The property has quick access to major roads, dedicated bike paths, and is just a few minutes from public transit stops - including a 10–15 minute walk to Sunnyside LRT station - connecting you to downtown and the rest of the city with ease.
Other Things to Note: To help keep things safe, smooth, and in line with local regulations, we ask guests to complete a short check-in form after booking. It includes a quick photo ID, similar to what hotels require, and helps confirm who’s staying since some booking platforms don’t always share full details. It’s fast, secure, and makes for an easy, contactless self check-in.
Guests are expected to treat the property with care and respect. Stampede getaway
Very clean, quiet studio with great amenities in a safe area. Only a 10-15 min walk to restaurants and the commuter train, so it was easy to get to stampede. We ate out a lot so didnt take advantage of the bbq and other cooking options, but it is well stocked with what you need. Side balcony gets the morning sun and overlooks a green space. Host Alex was quick/responsive and helpful with last minute questions!

Adorable Loft
I was in town for a Rotary international convention at Stampede Park. My adorable loft was just an eight dollar Uber ride away. The loft is across the street from the Bow River. Be careful crossing as it’s five lanes of heavy traffic. I enjoyed running and walking along the Bow River every morning. Be careful of the aggressive bike riders. The loft was appointed with very thoughtful items such as trail mix, coffee, microwave, popcorn, and teabags. I also enjoyed having coffee on the little balcony that overlooks a park, where dogs could be seen playing most of the time. I didn’t get a chance to grill, but there’s an adorable courtyard with a grill shared w another unit right outside.
