Won't stay there again.

We booked the hotel and nowhere did they indicate that the elevator is out of service (not just for a day or something but long term), so we had to carry bags and coolers up to the room. The room itself was basic but the window opened right out onto the roof (the picture shows our view). The roof was not only unnecessarily covered with scrap wood and stuff, it also felt unsafe for my partner and our 10 year old (who spent a night without me there) to have a window back directly onto a roof surface like that. Everything else was very basic and below avg for the price. Super heavily chlorinated pool as well.

Staff were great! We stayed on the second floor and the minute we stepped off the elevator the odour was a bit much. Maybe due to age of carpeting? The room was quite dated and in desperate need of attention. The bed was very hard so I spent the night tossing and turning whenever something started to hurt. The shower was a mere trickle so shampooing was a challenge. The breakfast was definitely decent.

If you ended up parking at the back, you have to buzz in and wait for the door to be manually opened to get in. To get out, you have to wait for someone to to take you to the door and let you out. If you don't know this, then you have to walk around the alley and walk uphill driveway to the main lobby.
