La Posada de Ojebar
Scenic location with very friendly staff. Excellent food and drink at the restaurant which was great value. View from the pool is incredible. The most perfect quiet stay in the mountains.

Hotel Convento San Roque
Atmospheric quirky hotel. Retains convent feel. Nice staff; good restaurant at night. Note it doesn’t do breakfast but good cafe nearby. No reception before noon. Good base for Bilbao - on commuter line to central station , one hour trip with regular trains .
