El histórico edificio catalogado, además de albergar nuestra propiedad, también alberga un restaurante con una estrella Michelin en el nivel de la calle. Este piso totalmente renovado ofrece una gran sensación de un edificio de principios de siglo con techos altos, puertas viejas y altas, pero un diseño moderno con todas las características del siglo XXI incorporadas. El apartamento tiene nuevas ventanas de doble acristalamiento que ofrecen una protección de sonido completa una vez que regrese a casa desde las concurridas calles de Pest. Una vez que salga del edificio, sentirá que no podría haber ido más al centro. Sas utca está llena de restaurantes, cafeterías, ubicados junto a la Basílica, a 2-5 minutos a pie del río Danubio, el Puente de las Cadenas y la calle Kiraly, la famosa zona de Ruinpubs, a 10 minutos a pie de la segunda sinagoga más grande del mundo. This property is in a very central location. It is close to many restaurants and St Stephen’s Basilica. The apartment is a good size for two couples. It provided all the amenities we needed, including a washer and dryer. There is an elevator which is great when arriving with luggage. George and Barbara replied to my messages in a timely way. We would stay here again.

The apartment has significant noise and light issues that made it difficult to sleep. The noise insulation is poor—you can hear sounds clearly from both inside and outside the unit. The bedroom sliding door is especially loud, and every time someone opens it, it wakes everyone up. One of the bedrooms does not have blinds or dark curtains, so the bright morning light wakes you up very early. Additionally, light from the outside corridor shines into the room at night, making it very hard to fall asleep. Overall, the apartment may not be suitable for light sleepers or anyone sensitive to noise and light.

My family and I enjoyed staying here, the owner was quick to reply to messages and gave details with pictures on things like how to enter the building, get the keys, where to turn on the heat, etc. The rooms were nice, beds comfty and very clean bathrooms. We were so lucky to find this place. Plus it was so close to everything!

Could not have been better!

From our arrival to our departure everything was better than expected. This condo is located near St Stephen’s church. Public transit was easy to access and there was no shortage of restaurants, from Michelin star and everything in between. Barbara and George were unfailingly helpful. The condo was tastefully decorated and bright, the kitchen well equipped. Nothing was lacking, we highly recommend this lovely spot.

Well-located and comfortable flat

Our family of three was satisfied with our stay, although the multitude of large print, all-cap, 8.5x11" instructional signs posted all over the flat were somewhat off-putting and made us feel less than fully welcome - while the flat was comfortable, we probably wouldn't rent it again because of all of this messaging. We stayed during a heat wave, and an additional fan in the flat (we found one tabletop fan) would be welcome (especially given the instructions about limiting air conditioner use). The flat was clean and is really well-situated in an active area within walking distance to several key touristic sites, public transit, and many, many restaurants. Check-in was mostly problem-free, although there was an extended back-and-forth about finding a way to provide photos of our identification, which were stressful to navigate while in transit without consistent wifi. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay and I could recommend it to others looking for a rental in the area.

Excellent property with great location, close to everything. Best communication from any owner I have worked with, helped with activity suggestions and secured private driver for transportation to airport. Highly recommend (the washer and dryer are a big plus) and will stay again when back in Budapest.

Fabulous place

We came to Budapest for a few days before our River Cruise. We are so fortunate to have found this apartment. First of all, George was so helpful. He was prompt in answering every question I had. He even arranged transportation for us from the airport. Clear directions were given regarding the check in process. The apartment was so clean, beautiful and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect. We were able to get to the places we wanted to see with ease. If we are fortunate enough to return to Budapest, this is where we would stay!!

Outstanding location

Location could not be better: Literally steps to the basilica, Christmas market, Ferris wheel, etc. Metro stop is only a block away which made using public transportation a breeze. Property is very clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. Hosts were extremely helpful. We highly recommend.

Great location

Lovely property. Don't be put off by the first entrance through the big wooden door. The apartment is really nice. Great location. The only problem we had was with the apartments lock on the street door. Very difficult to unlock or lock. We had to call to say we couldn't get in on our arrival. Barbara came and managed to open the door. But we still had great difficulty for the rest of our stay. I believe a new lock is required. We had to climb out of the bedroom window one morning because we couldn't unlock the door from the inside. Don't let that put you off though I'm sure George will sort it out. It was a lovely stay and we really enjoyed Budapest. I would recommend the apartment but hopefully the lock issue will get resolved.
