I loved the room, the balcony, clean room, sheets and bathroom. But there are homeless people in the park, tents, drug-out folks on the sidewalks and benches. People undressing in the park, unsafe area. Ask for room with upper front balcony.

The room was average., besides the service desk on arrival the staff don’t smile or engage in conversation. The lift to go to the underground carpark was extremely slow and at times the stairs were quicker than it. The food we did have for breakfast was very good. No biscuits or microwave in room. Very average for the price paid and we have travelled extensively. Will not be a returning customer.

I’ve stayed here before. Nice refurbished rooms, good size - although the common areas are dated and the rooms aren’t really sound proof. The large balconies are lovely though - something you don’t get in newer hotels. The restaurant is nice enough if you need to eat but don’t want to leave the building. Hotel has a very convenient location, next door to Brisbane Private Hospital.
