This property has so much potential! It is an amazing home. The street it is on and the environment away from the hustle and bustle of town (yet still just a couple minutes drive away) was perfect.We can’t give it 5 stars because the hot water boiler system went out and was not able to be fixed for 3 days. But that said, Great Western Lodging was helpful and communicative- and offered us an alternative place to stay right on the slopes if we wanted to switch. This is a testament of how excellent this property is, because we actually chose to even without hot water! The guys who came by the house working on it were professional, personable, and genuinely wanted to help us. All the people on the phone and over text were also very nice and communicative- even the service providers that GWL sent to the house to try and fix things were just great- Grant and Muhammad were especially helpful and were the ones to get things working- thank you! So why did we stay at the property even after the hot water went out?The property is very large and can accommodate multiple families with separate areas to relax and spread out in. A condo by the slopes cannot offer this. This home can. The hot tub worked great (and was a great respite from the cold). Outside, there was even an area to sled right by the home that was fun for the kids. The climate control was good, we were comfortable. There is even a steam room in one of the showers! The kitchen had multiple ovens, and even 2 dishwashers!
