"We had a very pleasant stay in Ponferrada Plaza. It's located next to the train station, and a short 8 minutes walk from the bus station. We were able to check in early, around 12 o'clock, without any problems, and they have kindly stored our hired bikes (sent from Santiago) for a few days before ..."

"We had a very pleasant stay in Ponferrada Plaza. It's located next to the train station, and a short 8 minutes walk from the bus station. We were able to check in early, around 12 o'clock, without any problems, and they have kindly stored our hired bikes (sent from Santiago) for a few days before our stay. All the reception staff we encountered were polite and helpful. Our room was quite big, well equipped and had comfy beds. It was great having a bath in our bathroom! This was the only place during our camino where we could enjoy soaking up the water in the bath. We didn't eat at the restaurant, or used their bar. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and would recommend it."
