"Very nice owners and the room was really great. It's an old lodge in the woods so don't expect a 5 star downtown NYC hotel, but the coffee, toiletries and bed sheets were all high quality. Like I said great nice owners too, and there's a 24/7 diner across the street. Would highly recommend!"

"Love the look of the stone building. We just stayed one night on our way to Portland. Had good meal at Dunsmuir Brewery Works which has an outdoor eating space where we could bring our dog. It is an easy walk out the back gate to the brewery. Fold out couch is comfortable for a fold out couch, wasn’t bothered by metal bars like on some. Water bed is more comfortable. Although house is across the street from train station so there is noise from the trains. "

"We had a one night stay here while traveling. It was a very nice surprise to see all the effort with the nice upgrades inside and outside. Clean, comfortable, safe, reasonably priced and within easy driving distance to Shasta City, downtown Dunsmuir and Castle Craig. The bed had soft, comfortable bedding and a great mattress. We would definitely stay here again when in the area."
