Small motel. It is clean and as to be expected for the price. The pool is small but adequate. The hot tub is huge. Rooms are small and somewhat dated - but clean and adequate. Pretty setting. Love the hammocks and grassy area. We would have preferred to be closer to town, but thankful we were able to get a room for the busy 4th of July holiday.

Beautiful location. Staff was friendly, professional & courteous. Rooms have back window for view of the Majestic Mount Shasta, hot tub was large & accommodating.

Great view and relaxing property

Pros: When we were tired of swimming and hiking we were happy to just relax at the parklike setting of the Swiss Holiday Lodge. Managed by a great family!
Cons: The building itself is older but well maintained.
Location: Mount Shasta has a lot to do in a short distance. You can fish, swim, hike, picnic and hang out in town all in a centralized location. Beautiful place
The Swiss Holiday Lodge is an older hotel with recent upgrades. It is managed by a very nice family and other staff members were really great too. We like going there over other hotels because the property itself is inviting. The hot tub has a view of Mount Shasta and the pool is clean. There is also a well kept lawn with small picnic tables, hammocks, well established shade trees and views of the surrounding mountains. It has a very park like setting. When we were tired, the room itself had a view of Mount Shasta out the back and a view of other mountains out the front and was spacious enough to be quite comfortable. The room was clean, the bed and linens were comfortable and my wife and I slept well. A cold refrigerator with a small freezer, small coffeemaker and new microwave allowed us to eat in the room very adequately. We enjoyed just relaxing at the property.
