LOOK ELSEWHERE!! The only thing good about this property would be the bed. There were holes in the walls and not from putting in new air conditioners. When you have a shower you can get scalded by someone in another room turning on the water. Although breakfast is offered it does not matter what time you go down for it as it is always the same…cold eggs and cold sausages. And the coffee is like mud. I even tried to change rooms. One owner said no problem. Other claimed rooms closed and not open to public. When we asked for the room to be cleaned after our second night we were told to remove anything worth money first.

Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable experience. We checked in half an hour ago and were first given the wrong room. When we went back to inform the front desk, there was no apology — just a key to a different room. That’s when things got even worse. The correct room had blood stains all over the bedsheets, pillows, and blanket. There was hair in the bathtub and an alive cockroach crawling near the toilet. It was clear that the room had not been cleaned at all. We went back to complain and the staff lazily changed just one bedsheet, leaving the blood-stained blanket and pillows exactly as they were. No apology. No compensation. No customer service whatsoever. I’ve never had a worse hotel/motel experience in my life. This place is a health hazard and should not be listed on any booking platform.

Excellent stopover on our way to Newfoundland. The owner is renovating and there is a marked difference compared to our stay in December. Great location. Good breakfast. Wonderful people.

Not safe to stay here, no privacy in rooms

Stayed in room 16. Felt like staying in an old garage with no insulation. Painted brick walls and tin ceiling with no soundproofing that you could hear all the noise from the upstairs room. Musty smell and damp inside the unit, it started making us cough and feel sick so we checked out early for the sake of our health and safety. Window coverings do not fully cover the window, no privacy or ability to blackout the room when sunrise is around 5:30am in the summertime. Unit had a new heat pump unit but does not have a wall control, management has a remote for the heat pump they "forgot" to give us. The unit was in very rough shape and dirty. Don't drink the tap water or use it to brush your teeth, it had a funky smell and reminded me of being in the Dominican Republic where tap water is only for the toilet and shower.

I didn't like having dried poo on the toilet. Seeing and having to clean that made me have lingering doubts about how poorly the rest of the room was cleaned. I didn't like the breakfast, was very poor. Tasted horrible. The good: very fast check in. The man who checked me in was very nice and friendly. The property is beautiful. The views are beautiful. I felt quite safe and had a good sleep less my cleanliness concerns. The cleaning staff need to do much better. The breakfast needs to improve. Fix these 2 things and I'd give the place a "5+/5" but because of the two very disappointing things I mentioned I can only rate the place a 3.5/5

Old doesn’t scare me if it’s clean - nightmare

Gteat location with lovely views

This Inn is in a great location with lovely views. The owner is a very friendly & nice guy, it looked to us like he is in the process of renovating the property and is doing a good job. The thing that is letting it down is the breakfast , it was of poor quality and the breakfast room isn't very welcoming. This has all the makings of a great place once a few things are tweaked.
