Beautiful view! Beautiful home! Kitchen was wonderful and very well stocked! My adult kids & grandkids stayed in the condo for Thanksgiving and they had absolutely everything they needed to prepare their dishes for the meal! Property owners were very attentive as well!

We booked two units, CC5 and CC7, CC7 was on the floor above CC5, so that worked out nicely for our families traveling together.The location was wonderful, and the view of Grandfather Mountain was spectacular.

Loved being on the top of the mountain with a beautiful view of Grandfather Mountain! The location felt central to everywhere we wanted to explore. Mary is a gracious hostess and the condo is immaculate and comfortable. I wish we’d planned to cook because the kitchen is well stocked and the deck and grill set up would have made for the best sunset dinners. We hope to be back for a longer stay.

Fantastic Summer Getaway

We have visited Echota for a number of years and this was the best property yet. The views were amazing and the unit was superb.

The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The views were the best I have seen within thus community. Everything in the unit was well appointed and picked out with the comfort and convenience of the renter in mind. The host was quick to respond and very helpful.

The Red Tail Nest is an amazing property and one of the nicest properties at which we have stayed. Check in was super easy and the host (Mary) had everything set up for us. The views of Boone and the surrounding areas are amazing! The property is even nicer in person than the pictures show! Everything was super clean and very well organized. Great location with easy access to Grandfather Mountain, Boone, and Linville Falls. Overall, we had an excellent time and hope to return again soon!

Beautiful Fall Weekend Stay

This property was absolutely beautiful and included any amenity you could want. The view was spectacular of Grandfather Mountain and enjoying coffee on the deck in the morning or wine in the evenings watching the sunset could not be more peaceful!

This property is beautiful with stunning views of Grandfather Mountain. Every aspect was 5 stars - communication with owners was prompt and attention to detail from cleanliness to the well stocked kitchen (coffee bar, water bottles in the fridge) and the welcome basket (so thoughtful) was far above anywhere we have stayed in Boone! The owner provided guide book was very helpful - recommended dining, hiking, shopping! Truly - Mary & Doug have provided a peaceful and beautiful retreat. We highly recommend and will definitely return.

Wonderful stay!

This is our second stay at the Red Tail Nest in the past year. Our family really enjoys all that the condo has to offer and the amenities. The unit is very clean and looks exactly as advertised. We love staying here and will be back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The home was convenient to both Beech Mountain and Boone, perfect centralized location. The home was beautiful, and the hosts were very friendly and responsive. We will be back!

Wonderful condo!

Our family really enjoyed our extended weekend here. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Our family visits Echota regularly and this has been my favorite condo we’ve stayed in so far! We will definitely be back!

Slice of heaven !

This property was top notch , beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed . The view of Grandfather mountain was the best and many hours were spent relaxing and enjoying the sunny view.

Mountainside Peace

Absolutely wonderful! The property itself is immaculate and very well maintained - very nice touches, it's obvious the owners enjoy the space as well as rent it. The location was great to get to the things we wanted to do, etc. including hiking, movies, shopping, etc. Will definitely come back here!
