Quite a special place to stay. The design of the house is incredible. I completely recommend staying here. Clean, bright, and cheerful! Pretty walking path just a short drive, and grocery store 15 minutes away. Beautiful views of the mountains, and close to major roads for travelers.

We absolutely loved this place. The house was so clean, had an amazing view in the backyard. The kids even asked if we could buy a house just like it. If we ever pass through the area again, this is definitely the place we will stay.

Cool house in a great location. Very clean, with a huge fenced yard where our dog enjoyed spending time. We spent most of our time on the side patio. Close enough to shopping, but far enough away from it all.

Short stay to watch my daughter graduate from CSU, and stayed in this lovely place nestled between Mead/Longmont/Beethoud. Comfortable beds, plenty of room for my adult boys and dog. Great stay! Hope to visit again!

Home is wonderful and comfortable in every way. Location was perfect for us with access to Boulder, Longmont, Loveland, Berthoud and Ft. Collins. Huge windows make for incredible long-range views.

Official Colorado Vacation Dome

Walking into the dome for the first time is breathtaking, we all instantly fell in love! With cows as backyard neighbors it made the trip more memorable as ever! One of my favorite parts was the view from the back porch!

Peaceful and Perfect Place

This was the best VRBO experience ever. Seamless, smooth, spotless, peaceful and absolutely delightful. We were in CO to visit CU and CSU - Berthoud was such a charming spot to stay. Adored the town. But this house - love love love. So many thoughtful touches in a unique and lovely spot. Convenient to Longmont, Boulder, Loveland, and Fort Collins.

Amazing!

You will not be disappointed if you stay here. It’s so lovely and peaceful. Lots of bunnies that hop around the yard all day which was adorable and fun for the kids. The beds are COMFY. I never sleep away from home and I slept great the whole time. All around great place and amazing hospitality from the host!

Great Girls Getaway

unique home located centrally for hitting both Denver and the Mountains

The Turtle Shell Dome is a unique place, which helps make the stay more memorable. It was about halfway between Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park, both of which we visited while staying at the Dome. The main bedroom and bathroom in the upstairs loft area are very open, and there is no sound isolation from the main living area if that's an issue for you, but otherwise it is a great family vacation spot.

Fantastic Stay!

This place was AMAZING!! Defiantly top notch. This was such a unique place to stay. They left little goodies for us, which was so sweet. Owners were very responsive when I had questions. The kids thought the place was SUPER cool. They had everything we needed. I'm very appreciative to the have been able to stay there. I HIGHLY recommend staying at this turtle shell shaped little slice of Heavan.

Get away, but not too far

We loved this house! It was very clean and we loved the turtle decor. The home was stocked with everything we needed from cooking to bug bites. The home is located on a dirt road surrounded my farms so you feel like your away from it all but just about 10 minutes away from shopping or walking in a park. We will definitely be returning here.

The house is AMAZING!!! So interesting and we discovered things about it everyday. Cozy, warm, so well made. Beds were so comfortable. Very clean and comfortable. Has everything you can need. They thought of everything. Little “welcome” touches. By far, the best airb&b we’ve ever stayed in!

The turtle dome retreat

We stayed at the turtle dome the week of my son's graduation from CU-Boulder. We wanted to stay somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of campus as that is not our vibe, and the turtle dome was perfect. It was peaceful and relaxing, clean and well-equipped with everything we needed and just a short drive for groceries, restaurants, and gas. The bird watching was amazing and the communication with the hosts and the little extra touches to make us feel welcome were above and beyond what I have seen in other VRBO listings. If my son lands in the Boulder area for work, we would absolutely love to stay at the turtle dome again!

Amazing

The turtle dome home was amazing. The kids (7-10) counted 32 turtles - we added one! Excellently supplied kitchen and appliances. We will be back when it is a bit warmer. We saw the biggest snake I've ever seen, birds, rabbits, and a bald eagle.
