Highly recommend to all who want to experience Beijing Hutong living, very homey feel, the property is artistically designed and immaculately maintained , the tea serving ritual is a must to experience… and the traditional Beijing snacks (fried sauce noodles, wonton soup, tea cakes) are so yummy that my kids said they are the best food they have tried Beijing.

This is the type of place that you hope to return to. It is perfect in every sense. The staff and owner are very kind, the beds are comfortable and they always have some treats waiting for you when you come back tired. I only wish we stayed in Beijing longer.

We are a family of four and had a very pleasant 10-night stay. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or requests. Breakfast was enjoyable, with freshly made beef noodles and wonton soup, along with a good variety of options to start the day. The location was also convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby. This is a beautiful property in a lively neighbourhood, very charming. What made the experience special was the kind and attentive service from the staff. They were very helpful in helping us book activities, provide suggestions, ensure our stay is comfortable, and even went out of their way to provide early breakfast when we needed to leave early. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Every day we looked forward to the afternoon tea service, where we got to try many types of fruits, nuts, and handcrafted sweets, some were very artistic. They also brought warm milk to our room every night :) The rooms are clean and comfortable, the property has sweet birds and koi fish which were a fun addition! We would recommend anyone to stay here.

The staff are so welcoming and went above and beyond. Really helped my wife out with medical needs. So polite and willing to help. The breakfast was fresh and veried. Traditional Chinese foods but also some normal breakfast items to keep kids happy. Also provide an afternoon tea with traditional treat but also have popcorn and candy floss. A great addition. The best hotel I have ever stayed in. I would recommend this for anyone to try. Worth every penny

Amazing Hutong Hotel in Beijing!

XinXiangYaYuan Courtyard was an absolutely lovely oasis in the heart of Beijing! The beds were SO comfortable, the staff was incredible (kind, helpful), and the rooftop terrace is perfect for an early evening beer and snack. Breakfast was mostly Chinese items, with some yogurt and egg options, as well. Would 100% stay again!

Wonderful Siheyuan experience

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, the location is great and a lot of efforts have been put in the decoration and facilities, giving us the feel of an authentic Siheyuan with all the modern comfort. Rooms are spacious and perfectly equiped. We particularly liked the small private patio that added calm and privacy. The staff is amazing, kind, efficient and very attentionate, we even had a wonderful tea time and treats during our stay and loved the small happy birds singing. A very nice place that we highly recommend to enjoy your visit of Beijing.

The reviews were correct. This is a wonderful place to stay in Beijing. It is a very small, quaint, and immaculately cared for hotel. The rooms have very traditional and modern elements that work very nice. If only I spoke Chinese to use the automation. The highlight were the staff of the hotel. They were unbelievably attentive, kind, genuine and helpful. The answer was always yes. We were leaving early for a tour and they opened breakfast early for us. After check out we left our luggage to walk around before coming back to leave to the airport. They invited us to tea time before we left, even though we were checked out. Small, but impactful efforts. My wife said it was the best stay she has ever experienced in all our travels.
