La Posada de las Casitas
This is our second visit to this property... we couldn't wait to return and it didnt disappoint.. go if you get the opportunity... it's quite remote but there are places to eat in the village and the castle/church/museum are definitely worth visiting

Superb service from beginning to end. Really nice and busy bar. Very reasonably priced dinner, excellent food. Outstanding breakfast. Strong WiFi though you had to change server depending on where you were. Interesting village with architectural highlights.

Palacio Congresos
Hotel was ok, I parked on the street as I didn’t want to pay €8.50. There’s no food available in the evening and the bar is soulless. Breakfast was ok, but just ok. Shower was a dribble in Room 104 and the shower head had to be held. I have cancelled another reservation that I had booked.

Hotel Eurostars Diana Palace
Very comfortable room with great big bed and superb shower. Good access to the lovely town centre in Palencia. Big negative was accessing the parking - it's done by driving onto a lift which we didn't like!

I was a bit disappointed with the hotel and would describe it average at best. The hotel pool is a nice asset if a little cold. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest and the drains made the whole room smell somewhat if the door was left open. The covers on the beds were also dirty. The staff were ...

When we first travelled in Spain 30 years ago, this was the typical hotel. Honest to goodness accommodation for travellers. It was fine. Comfortable and clean. Old fashioned but fine. Really good value. We left car in hotel garage as parking on street tricky. There is unloading space.
