Warm welcome and helpful staff. Parking is free on street. EV charging is in a tiny locked compound. Food in the restaurant very nice and breakfast good. Main problem is the bar area and stock. Buildup of debris in the unused restaurant door area.

Very nice hotel, center of town, welcoming staff and the food was very good. Floors are a bit creaky due to buildings age. Thurso seems to be a stop for people going on to Orkney, but if i needed a base to see Caithness, i would stay at the Pentland. Single room reasonably priced.
