"I was a little disappointed when I thought the room I booked had an ocean view and it did not. The building is nice, clean and staffs were friendly and courteous. "Praia Confort is conveniently located right in the heart of the city, within a 5min walk of the beach and several restaurants. The room was on the small side, but the beautiful mountain views from the balcony made up for it. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, the service was a bit of a mixed bag. I found the male staff friendly and helpful, while my interactions with the female staff were less welcoming. The bathroom was also quite small, and the soap supply was insufficient, I had to ask for more just to take a shower. The biggest downside was the Wi-Fi. I’m not sure if the connection was poor because I was staying on the 7th floor, but it worked much better in the lobby than in my room. Overall, the hotel’s central location, proximity to the beach, and mountain views were definite highlights. However, improvements to the Wi-Fi, bathroom amenities, and customer service would make the stay more enjoyable."
