Book a hotel near Arthurdale Heritage Inc. Museum, Reedsville

"Tho hotel is mostly ok. The staff was wonderful. But our room phone and hair dryer did not work. The two drawers were broken. The windows had not been cleaned and were really dirty. We went for the continental breakfast and the eggs were cold and hard. The sausage was swimming in liquid, the gravy had a brown hard film on it and the toaster didn’t work. Also a strong smoke smell was coming from the ac unit in and off throughout the night. "

"I booked two rooms, each with two queen beds. Our rooms were on two entirely different floors. Check in was easy. The pool area was fine, but the floor tiles are extremely slippery when bare-footed. The lock on the fitness room was broken and just lying on the floor. The equipment there was fine, but there were no sanitizing wipes, cups for water, or tissues. The rooms themselves were fine. The stairwells were pretty dirty and looked like no one from the staff ever bothered to clean them. The breakfast was good and offered an excellent variety of food. It was constantly being replenished. When we returned from a baseball game on Saturday, all of our key cards had been erased. No one could access their rooms or outside doors. We had to go to the front desk to get our cards reset. There was no hot water beginning Friday night. There was no hot water all day Saturday. When I checked at 9:30 Saturday night, there was finally hot water. This was a pretty big issue because we were there for a baseball tournament. We were cold, wet from rain, and dirty from playing ball. We were unable to wash the chlorine off after swimming. I'm also wondering how the staff was able to prepare breakfast on Saturday without hot water. Amanda G was absolutely wonderful and so helpful! Another staff member, whose name I don't recall, was snippy about providing additional towels. I booked a room for 4 but only received 2 towels. Huh? I would not stay here again despite the great location. "

"Clean and stocked room; full fridge, microwave, dishes, kitchen area. Good location and easy commute into Morgantown. Friendly and assistive staff. Highly recommend and would stay again!"

"Solid golf course (Lakeview) for beginners or people who aren’t great at golf. Fairways are open and easy to stay in. Hotel was solid, friendly staff, easy commute to Cooper’s Rock, WVU, restaurants around. Shower pressure was a bit light but did the job. Highly recommend"
