Make sure you book in advance, as there are very few accommodation options within a 6-mile (10-kilometer) radius of the heart of Arnado.
The Hotel Monumento Pazo do Castro is the nearest to the downtown area of Arnado and the sole Travelocity-listed hotel within easy driving distance.
18 miles (29 kilometers) outside of central Arnado, you will find the Hotel Las Doñas. Alternatively, the Posada Plaza Mayor can be found 18 miles (29 kilometers) away. Some other places to stay here are the Parador Villafranca del Bierzo along with the Hotel San Francisco.
Once you have seen the sights in Arnado, ensure you allow time to visit more of what Galicia has to offer. Photograph Galicia's beaches, coastal plains, forests and rivers. On top of that, venture through some of its castles and old towns. Travelers in this corner of Spain will enjoy mountain biking.
San Cibrao Das Vinas is situated 40 miles (64 kilometers) to the southwest of Arnado. While here, you can visit the Praza do Concello. Modern travelers to Verin have some great options to choose from; the Parador De Verin Ourense and Parador Castillo De Monterrei. In the downside there was a silverfish on the bedding on arrival, not dangerous to humans but not very nice, and the water came out the taps brown and there was no plug for the bath anyway. We improvised but it was brown water bath. It was a great location and enjoyed several walks into the médulas and had a great day out in Ponferrada & swimming in the lake, and enjoyed the mining tunnels at Orellan. The sunsets and sky were lovely from the hotel. The breakfast and evening meals were very good at hotel."
