Kamenoi Hotel Hikone
Fantastic stay in this onsen style ryokan. Had a wonderful private onsen in our room, overlooking the river and the lake beyond. Can’t ask for a more perfect experience. Waking up early to soak in our private room onsen before dressing and heading down for the Japanese style breakfast included.

If you have the time, why not spread your wings and visit the myriad attractions located in Kinki while you are here? Kinki is well known for its beaches, and other common places of interest are ruins. In this section of Japan adventurous visitors can also try their hand at mountain biking.
Higashiyama is 40 miles (63 kilometers) southwest of Arihara and is home to Rokuharamitsu-ji Temple and Himukai-daijingu Shrine.
