"There was noting unique about the property or the service or amenities. The room facing the street was very noisy and they turn off the AC from the main control at night so the room was hot!! Staff was not very helpful providing direction or suggestion. I definitely won’t stay here."

"The hotel is conveniently situated a few blocks from the train station, making it easy to travel to near-by towns by Trenitalia. The neighborhood is lackluster and seems to be inhabited by many immigrants. We always felt safe, although the streets are poorly cleaned and maintained. The hotel itself is updated beautifully with good-sized rooms and stylish bathrooms. Cleaning service was daily. We heard no noise from adjacent rooms or from the street. All the staff were very nice and very friendly. The breakfast buffet was adequate but nothing special. The main issues for me were the small, slow elevator and the lack of HOT water. We showered in warmish water each morning, but never had really good hot water from the bath shower heads. For the price, Hotel Moderna was a fairly good option for our first visit to Bari."
