THAT GRAY HOUSE is a perfect romantic getaway for a couple, a group of friends or a family! 4 ski areas nearby!
THAT GRAY HOUSE IS a lovely 2-story Chalet in Indian Mountain Lake gated community. Entire home is yours for the rental period. Great for a relaxing get-away weekend or stay for an entire week or a month. 6 people maximum. We can make an exception and add 1 additional guest at an extra cost if $100 per night.
Guests must provide the list of all guests' names (first and last) attending to register with the community to get entry passes. Please provide them at the time of booking. You won't be able to enter the community without providing the names.

Here's what you can anticipate:

Upon entering the house, you'll be greeted by a gracefully set dining table, perfectly prepared for a romantic dinner. Heart-shaped decorations adorn the lighting fixtures, guiding your gaze along a rose petal trail that leads to the master loft upstairs. (No roses will be harmed in the process, as the petals are artificial silk). Resting on your bed, you'll discover a box of assorted chocolates, encircled by a heart-shaped petal display and two heart-shaped balloons. Love-themed decorations subtly embellish the entire house.

Our mini cakes are a culinary masterpiece, exclusively created by our talented friend pastry chef – a taste you won't find elsewhere. They are very delicate and need to be refrigerated. In most cases we leave them in the fridge. However, should your arrival coordinate with our setup time, we're more than happy to place them elegantly on the table for a grand reveal.
Your bottle of sparkling wine will be found in an ice bucket within the fridge, but should you prefer, and with prior coordination, we can present it on the table alongside the mini cakes.

To ensure a seamless experience, we'll contact you around noon on your arrival day to confirm your anticipated check-in time. Our standard check-in time is 4 PM, though we can explore the possibility of an earlier check-in upon request. Should you confirm an arrival time compatible with our setup schedule, both the sparkling wine and the mini cakes will be perfectly arranged on the table to welcome you.

This home has been recently updated. Unlike the majority of rental homes in the are THAT GRAY HOUSE has a central AC to make our guests more comfortable. The main level has a fully stocked kitchen and living room open plan space with a fireplace (we provide some fire wood, but if you need more, you can conveniently purchase it from us. The instructions on how to purchase it you will find on the dining table. Don't let a lack of firewood spoil your cozy evening indoors. ).


A little corridor leads you to 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom as well as the laundry room with washer and dryer and our pet station that has some supplies for your dog if needed.

A sizable lofted master suite, with a whirlpool tub and a designated work space overlooks the main living area.

The private deck has a Weber gas grill, and an illuminated sitting area.

The 1 acre property has 2 fire pits, hammock outdoor games & other amenities to make your stay as fun and relaxing as possible.

This is a dog friendly home. (the limit is 1 large or 2 small dogs).

The gated community has 5 lakes, 2 lake beaches, 2 swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts and playgrounds. To enjoy these community amenities, guests are required to have amenity passes (wristbands), which cost $10 per person for the entire duration of your stay. It’s a great value, and many guests find it absolutely worth it. If you don't plan to use the communal amenities, you don't have to do anything. If you are planning on using them

Guest access
When you enter any of the 2 gates, please locate the security booth (at the main gate there is s sign that says Visitors/Guests/ Contractors. At the second gate Rt115 there is no sign), drive up to it and provide your name and the address of THAT GRAY HOUSE. Make sure to ask for a paper pass for the duration of your stay. You will need it to enter the community without providing your name and address when you come back if you go outside the community.

The access code to the lock keypad will be provided before your stay.

There is plenty parking on premises.

The amenity passes are located in the WELCOME box next to the front door. They must be on yourself when you use communal amenities.

Please obey the posted speed limit within the community. It is strictly enforced by security patrols.

The house is not suited to host more than 6 people. We can make an exception and add 1 additional guest at an extra cost if $100 per night.
