The house itself is beautiful and well designed, but unfortunately our experience did not match how the property was presented in the listing.The biggest issue was privacy. From the photos and description, I understood this to be a relatively private and secluded property. In reality, the house is surrounded by approximately eight neighboring homes, many with direct sightlines into the property. With huge floor-to-ceiling windows and no blinds, curtains, or shades in many areas, the house essentially felt like a fishbowl. We noticed neighbors looking directly into the property on multiple occasions, which became so uncomfortable that we left after the first night.I accept that I could have specifically asked about window coverings before booking. However, I do not feel the listing or photographs accurately communicate how close the surrounding homes are or how exposed the interior feels. Had this been clear, I would not have booked the property.The community also has very strict access requirements, with guests needing to be registered and provide ID. Communication with Joana was difficult during our short stay, including when I tried to contact her about two additional guests.The house itself is great, but if privacy or seclusion is important to you, I would strongly recommend asking detailed questions before booking.
