We’ve had the worst experience staying at this property. The property is NOT renovated. I few of the rooms have been badly painted and in recent years a kitchen has been replaced but other then that everything is very old. We found the house stunk heavily of old dog. The floors and carpets very filthy to the point that bare feet and socks were covered in a thick film. The house has stuff stored everywhere it’s advertised as sleeping 11 however that means you have numerous fold up beds and old smelly bedding in areas you’d otherwise want to use such as a walk in dressing area or spare bedroom. The wardrobes stuffed full of old spare equipment which means storage for your personal items is limited to near non existent.
During our stay we had an infestation of ants inside the house which meant numerous food items spoilt. Rat traps are left outside at knee height clearly advertised as not safe for children and rats can be seen walking around the outside of the property on a daily basis. We found numerous dead rats outside and even one inside the house.
