"Newly-built hotel on a quiet side street. Clean, modern rooms with attached bath and shower. No a/c however, but the climate is cool up at this altitude. No English spoken but staff makes an effort to communicate with translation apps. Decent breakfast. Several parking spots in gated courtyard for regular-sized vehicles. This hotel is likely the best in town as of summer 2026. Great views of the At Bashy Mountains from town and the drive to the Tash Rabat ruins is scenic on a sunny day. Unfortunately, this spring (2026) they erected a metal roof over the Tash Rabat ruins to protect the site from the weather but this also ruined the exterior view if the building, although the remarkable interior is still fun to explore (take a torch)."
