Beautiful property in a great location. Food had no flavor at all, and was very bland. Bring enoigh cash as they dont take card. If youre canadian, you have even less payment options. I tried exchanging usd to Guatemala currency, but they dont accept anything less than $20 bills.

The lovely Hotel Villa Santa Catarina is Guatemalan-owned. Beautiful two pools, great view of the lake, and a short tuk-tuk ride to Panajachel. The restaurant on site is fantastic for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Room was spacious - no A/C, but not a problem with the cool lake breeze at night.
