"We were not told prior to our arrival or even when we checked in that the hotel was being renovated on every floor. We found out about the renovations when the elevator opened on our floor and we had to walk through all the work that was going on (painting, drilling, sawing, etc.) to get to our room at the other end of the hallway. We also did not have hot water for 24 hours until we and some other hotel guests went and complained. The water pressure in the shower was very poor and only came out of part of the shower head. While some staff were very nice, the woman that checked us in and out of the hotel was not friendly. We were never told about the amenities or activities in the surrounding area."
