The woman who checked us in was absolutely the sweetest. She gave us some recommendations and made us feel right at home. Our room was spotless and so cute. Access to the beach was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again. I am so happy we found this little gem.

Tillicum Beach Hotel]

It says it is oceanfront but the Ocean is 200 yards away with 20 steps to beach. Not good for handicapped person. Heaters were very old and we sneezed alot in room. Was not worth 200 a night. Hotel very nice but will not be back.

Clean, amazing beach access, friendly

This place is like the cleanest, most “Oregon Coast thoughtful” roadside hotel I’ve ever been stayed. Rooms cleans. Beds comfy. Heater in the bathroom. Nice person on check out. Nice person on checkout. And probably the most incredible beach access on the coast. Incredible incredible view from the back (covered) patio. Picnic tables and chairs (in the field for sunny moments, under nice cover when not). Board games, movies, a wall of books, and local knowledge of the area.

Must stay here !!

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The property is stunning!! The back door of the room walks out onto the beach. Perfect place for dogs. Room was clean and very cozy. I loved this place and would highly recommend it. The beach wasn’t busy either it was great to do a morning run on the beach with my pup.

Nice little motel

We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious our room was. We could tell it was an old building, but it was very clean, so it was charming. The room was listed as having an ocean view, but there were bushes in the way. Perhaps trim them back? Also, the shower has those window blocks from floor to ceiling. You can't see a whole lot through them but it was still awkward showering in front of them. Overall, we had a nice stay. Being able to walk out the back door and walk down to the beach was nice. The beach was quiet and there weren't a lot of people around.

The room reeked of bleach like the second you walked in. That’s all you smell the whole time. I just felt like I was breathing in chemicals. It was horrible. The bed was uncomfortable. The room was small and the furniture and appliances were ancient and almost unusable. I really don’t know why this place has such good reviews?! It’s terrible! Just because the people are nice doesn’t mean anything. I had a horrible time. It was a scary stinky motel room. I would not recommend this place at all.

This hotel is small and old, but I loved it. It was very clean, well cared for, and provided all the comforts possible. I loved the covered but open space that reveled a flat area that was walkable to the beach when we stepped out the back door. The cute electric fireplace was a sweet touch. The bed was very comfortable and had crisp clean linens. I definitely would stay there again.

Step back in time on the beach

This is an old-fashioned single floor drive up to the door motel, with small rooms, DVDs, books to borrow and old-fashioned glazed buttermilk donuts and fruit for am - no decaf coffee for this proud to be from another era place. The checkin office is a bit hidden in the “elbow” of the building. The bedding could do with a little less detergent (was itchy) but water pressure in shower is nice. The highlight is a great empty field between the rooms and ocean- good for outdoor games or a fire at night - with a short stairway down to sand. It’s fun, relaxed beach accommodations for people who want to spend most of their time outdoors.
